Just found out today that an old standup Cleveland/Chicago friend passed away this week. Billie C. was always a riot to be around and could get the Pope to laugh out loud. Billie's death remains of unknown causes and it is none of my business. I'm just sore that we didn't get together for a dinner we planned to look at old photos I had of the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland back during the 70s and 80s. Some are on www.ClevelandMob.com but many are still held by old goombies and retired OC Bureau collectors.

 

I plan on saying a Novena for Billie and hope I can make his funeral on Saturday. RIP Big Billie C. Well played.

my dad is locked down in texarcana and was a cap. in new york.so what!death  creeps some people out.
collinwood aint ITALIAN anyway,and CLEVELAND is shit,even when BALESTERI WAS BOSS.

Just had to jump on the last train heading out but here goes. #1.) Death doesn't "creep" me, I see it as the crown to life; 2.) Maybe the Collinwood we refer to was mainly Italian, if you haven't been here, then you could have read "Last Mafioso" or any of the sites' authors books and lastly 3.) Youi still at least have a father that is alive. I can't understand why you act like "Mr. Know-it-all" from Rocky & Bullwinkle. You must truly be mixed up becuse I cannot recall a Balesteri "even when". Why not try to play nice? Peace.
